Nail calls are simple calls to use that work very similarly to a pot and striker. A nail call consists of a horseshoe nail, a wooden sound chamber that the nail is driven into, and a piece of slate that you run the nail on. Instead of running this call in circles like you would a pot call you just need to drag it down the slate to run the call.

Every Nail call comes with the call itself and a piece of slate to run the call on.
-
No, you never need to condition the slate you run the call on. The more you run the call the more it cuts a grove into the slate and makes the call easier to run.

While both Our Bearded Hen line and our Boss Hen make the same sweet turkey sounds. Our Bearded Hen line are chosen as a Bearded Hen because of the grain pattern in the wood that gives them a unique look that stands out from the rest just like a bearded hen in the wild. Each Bearded Hen call is one of one since no two look alike.
